OUR VOWS

WEDDING CEREMONY VOWS BY JUANZETTA AND JOZEF AT LA JOLLA COVE PARK IN SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, SEPTEMBER 6, 2016

JUANZETTA:

My dear Jozef, since we met on the elevator on Focus 42, you have fascinated me. As I have found, not only did you meet all my stated and hoped for criteria, you have exceeded them and even added some that I forgot to include (like being very romantic). I loved our first eleven months together, which were spent totally on the telephone because it gave us such a deep understanding of each other. It also cemented a deep soul connection that remains strong today.

You have given me the gift of new love at a time in life when few people expect it. As I recently heard a poet say, “You have broken the spell of the sound of loneliness” for me. With your own spirituality so closely related to mine in understanding, for the first time in my life, I feel truly understood at my Soul level. I never feel that I have to translate myself for you. You always “get me.”

Although in our many eons together as Eternal Soul Mates we have lived in myriad places in the Universe, it is a joy to once again find you and spend these precious years with you on this earth. You are not only my lover and friend, you are my heart’s joy. Your view of the world has given me a fresh perspective and broadened my scope as never before. You make me strive to be a better person.

Since we are in the sunset of our own lives, I feel that it is infinitely appropriate that we celebrate our Spiritual marriage on the west coast of our country where our physical sun sets. To this spiritual marriage, I bring you my love and adoration and an even deeper desire to share my life with you, my wonderful Jozef. For however long we have to be together, know that I will cherish each and every day we have with each other. You are my dream come true!

JOZEF:

My Dear and Sweet Juanzetta, Moja Láska! I do love you and I do want to commit to you for the remaining years on this planet and for eternity as your spiritual husband, because as Mahatma Gandhi said:  “Where there is love, there is life”. And, you gave me a wonderful new life and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart, My Love.

It took us time to find each other, not knowing yet that our love on this planet was intertwined throughout the ages. We did not know yet that our love would thrive very well beyond the time when our physical bodies disappear and dissolve into the mass of this Universe.

I love you and I commit to you, because as Rudolf Steiner said: “Love starts when we push aside our ego and make room for someone else.” You did that My Love and you are teaching me to understand it every day.

After I kissed you for the first time under the stars, you had to exercise a lot of patience and I apologize for that. Yet when I saw your beautiful green eyes again after 11 months at the Dulles Airport, I knew I was sold. Sold to the beautiful love and friendship we cherish every day. As your favorite Joseph Campbell said: “Love is a friendship set to music.”

That is why I want to continue to love you and commit to you here for now  and for eternity.

“If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing” as my spiritual friend Saint Paul said. Thank you for your devotion and patience with me. I know sometimes I can be a trouble and I appreciate that you built a mastery in handling that.

“True love is not monkey love, it is not blind and it does not expect anything in return. Love is flowing like a breeze on the beach and love connects like a kiss or hug. Love simply is”, said  the Gardener and you are fulfilling it each and every day.

I love your continuous positive outlook and attitude, your laugh and joy and also our little English/ Slovak discrepancies. They often hold us together unlike anything else. I love you even though you are a flaming liberal and I am not.

I love you and want to commit to you, because you are not only the lady in the carriage and wonderful intimate lover in our bed, but also the best friend when I need someone just to talk to, and someone to drag  the cart full of our not always easy earthly stuff on this planet with me. As another hero of yours, Oprah Winfrey, said:

“Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.” And that is you, My Love. I do not believe that when the limo would break down, you would sit in the corner and cry. You would carry on with me and help me to fix it for us. As Nelson Mandela said: “Do not judge me for how many times I fell, judge me for how many times I rose again.” You and me, my dear Juanzetta, we already rose again many times and we shall continue to do that.

And when one of us finally shall depart back home to the spiritual world, he or she would now wait for the other one not only as a spiritual fiancée, but as a spiritual husband or wife. Then we will find our Rama somewhere in the distant universe. But for the time being, we should keep love in our hearts. As Oscar Wilde said, “life without love is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.”

I love you, Juanzetta Shew Flowers and I commit to you for today, tomorrow and forever.
